Marlo was soundly defeated by the Omeo fishing club in our recent annual bream tournament on the 3rd and 4th of December 2022 Not only were we outfished but outnumbered. We need to get more members competing on these events so we can show our talents. However we had a great time and thank our opposition for their wonderful spirit and congratulate them on their skills.

Our first Comp against the Danglers angling club from Melbourne  held on the weekend fishing in some very trying condition with a lot of dirty water due to recent flooding.

However some very good fish were caught by Marlo managed to win the shield for the first year in what will hopefully become a yearly event.

Congratulations to Marcel Johnson wining the fishing rod and reel with the biggest  fish of the day weighing 1.265kg.  Darlene Faulkner, the best fisherwoman, picked up the gift pack with a fish of 0.905Kg.
